FLORIDABLANCA, SANTANDER, COLOMBIA – In an incident that has shocked the community of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area, Nathalia Duarte, a young woman in her 30s, was murdered in broad daylight this Friday, May 9, in the Villa Luz neighborhood of the Floridablanca municipality. The crime, perpetrated by two hitmen riding a motorcycle, was captured on local security cameras.

The murder occurred around noon, as the victim was walking along a street near a hardware store. According to images collected by authorities, one of the attackers pulled out a firearm seconds before intercepting her.

Without saying a word, he shot her directly in the head. The woman fell to the ground immediately, while the attackers fled without a trace, despite the presence of passersby nearby.

According to sources close to her, Nathalia Duarte had received death threats in the weeks prior to her murder. The threats, sent via messaging apps, repeatedly warned that her life was in danger. Although these warnings had been repeated, it is unknown whether the young woman filed a formal complaint with the authorities.

Sources close to Duarte indicated that her death could be linked to alleged criminal retaliation. The young woman was allegedly involved in the murder of a member of alias “Chorizo”‘s inner circle, an individual with a criminal record who is currently in prison.

According to this version, he allegedly ordered the crime from prison in retaliation. This hypothesis has not yet been confirmed by the investigative bodies and remains under verification.
